We’re working to ensure that all Brighton families have access to fresh produce regardless of their incomes. In addition to grocery stores, Brighton has several local farm stands, and many of our food pantries provide fresh produce to their clients. Regardless of where you purchase fresh produce, you’ll usually get the best value by buying what’s in season locally. The Colorado Fruits and Vegetables Growers Association has excellent information about Colorado grown produce, listed by the months of harvest.
